woreilly Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 I have a school that have 2 sets of netbooks that hardly ever get turned off properly and therefore rarely get any Windows Updates installed (only when I'm there and have the time to get some of them out). I am wondering if anyone has a best practice for making sure updates get installed when there's not a technician around to force them to be installed? It is a bare metal Server 2012 to Windows 7 x86 clients. I turn on auto-download and install of updates. I turn on the default start menu shutdown action to say "install updates and shut down". Is there anything else I can do to try and push the updates out?
