ste1988 Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Hi, I am using apple configurator to setup 40 iPads, everything is going okay until it comes to enrolling the device in profile manager. To get the iPads to successfully prepare and supervise, i have to leave the enrolment profile out as it throws up this error during install. When installing the profile manually on the iPad i get the error profile installation failed the server certificate for https://servername/devicemanagement/api/device/auto_join_ota_service is invalid When i visit that url on the macserver i get 405 Method Not Supported : GET Can anyone help, couldn't find a great deal about this on apples forums
ste1988 Posted November 28, 2014 Author Posted November 28, 2014 If i use apple configurator and un tick supervise, i can install my enrollment profile fine. Any ideas?????
CharlieRich Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Are we able to use Profile Manager to enrol devices here in the UK yet?! To my understanding it was linked to the DEP which isn't available yet... We use an enrollment profile exported from our MDM solutions console, unsure what your setup is and if that helps at all
ChrisERoots Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Looks like you've added the URL properly to me. For Meraki (which is what we use) it looks something like this: https://ios.meraki.com/apple_mdm/profile/4443333333333333333?org=322222
