London Academy is an 11-19 mixed multicultural comprehensive school in North London. We have over 1500 students including 450 in the Sixth Form. We teach in new state of the art facilities; all rooms have interactive whiteboards and students have access to over 1000 PCs. In 2008 we were designated a High Performing Specialist School and have Applied Learning as an additional specialism. The Academy has a bespoke pedagogy that believes that all students can achieve by engaging in a meaningful and purposeful curriculum. Roles & Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include providing technical support to all Academy members with the emphasis on 2nd line or specialist support and encompassing 1st and 3rd line where required. You will be supporting the development of often, complex ICT solutions in conjunction with the Deputy Network Manager and Network Manager. You will also play a pivotal role in supporting other members of the technical support team along with staff and students within the Academy.

 

Essential

- At least 1 years’ experience of providing technical support (1st/2nd line) and systems development in a medium to large ICT environment.

- Experience of managing and supporting Windows desktop and server systems and managed network environments.

- Experience using Disaster Recovery technologies and methodologies.

- Working in an ICT support environment to defined service levels and targets.

- Implementing solutions based on user or customer requirements.

- Experience working on projects as part of a team.

- Experience of other key IT manufacturers or providers products and technologies.

- Experience of leading on projects as part of a team.
