IIYAMA Interactive Screens

Has anyone had any experience of IIYAMA Interactive screens? Just had a quote for one and not had any experience of them apart from seeing them at BETT. Looked at the spec and it does not say what wattage the speakers are so don't know if I would need to budget for extra sound bar as well?

Yes, we have the 65" IIyama screen and can definitely recommend them. We have been looking at interactive screens for a little while but found a lot of them to be over priced with too many features that my schools did not require but just part of a hard sell tactic.

The TV's come with built in speakers which are more than adequate but some people still prefer adding speakers/sound bar. I have a deal with a local supplier who provide speakers as part of the price.

We also have 21 65" IIyama screens installed and can definitely recommend them. We had an issue at first with our computers having reduced USB power output but IIyama have now insert a 5v USB mod. They just work

We've got some 65" screens but we don't use the internal sound on them, as for the touch capabilities they're pretty impressive.

 

The LG 84" 4K touch screens are awesome too.

Don't suppose anyone has tried one of these with a ChromeOS device?

I'm not sure if Iiyama supports ChromeOS but i've used the benq range with a chrome book. I dont think its a common feature but I would imagine more will start to support as chrome keeps growing in education.

 

Only issue was the chromebook didnt have a HDMI output, so we had to purchase a HDMI / micro USB convertor. Worked really nicely though, didnt have any issues other than a bit of fiddling to get the settings right (from memory you need to extend the desktop rather than mirror)
