Windows Server Backup and Hyper-V issue

Yo yo!

 

So I have a VM which is my KMS server. As of late, backups have randomly failed. If I shut off the VM, they work fine. I switch it back on, they work for a couple of days and then bomb out because the Volume Shadow Copy service failed to start.

 

I mean.... I can cope shutting the VM off for a bit, but it's not an ideal situation.

 

Has anyone else come across this issue?
