Yammer Directory Sync - Anyone using it?

Hi

 

Is anyone using Yammer directory sync?

 

I have set it up and it has created the accounts on our yammer site based on our local AD. All good.

 

But i was under the impression that users would then only have to click Yammer at the top menu when using O365 to be logged into yammer.

 

Have i go this wrong or is that how it is supposed to work?

 

This is the link that i read Simplified login to Yammer from Office 365 - Office Blogs i know it's not full SSO but just to click through from emails and be logged in was good enough for us.

Do the instructions in that step not work? If you click Yammer are you not signed in?

No. I've tried switching it back to news feed then back to yammer waiting 30 mins but still not working

Hi just managed to speak to their support and apparently they halted the rollout which is why it doesn't work. Just told to wait for a future update

We don't get an error just comes up with a login window instead.

 

This link shows they are updating it so it will look like you never left O365. Looks really nice and seamless and should be released any day as it was due October.

So you have Yammer at the top on the nav of Office 365? When I click that, I get: Sorry, but we’re having trouble signing you in. We received a bad request.
