SHimmer45 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Anyone else use sharp multifunction copiers with job accounting and found an issue where the user is not prompted to enter a number even though it says you need to? Issue only appears to affect later versions of IE, other applications dont exhibit the problem. Been working with sharp the last couple of days to resolve the problem but interested if others have been affected.
MatthewL Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 What is the exact issue, is it when they print they pin box doesn't come up? If so what is the model of the machine?
SHimmer45 Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 yeah the pin box doesnt appear, but they get a message to "check user number" and then the pin box should appear. its a Sharp MX363N
MatthewL Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 In the printing defaults, job handling tab ensure you have the auto job review ticked and that should solve it.
SHimmer45 Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 (edited) changed the printing defaults to auto review the job and no change. using the debug options and setting the page to be viewed in "10" mode and the box does appear, the example site i have used is just MSN.com and in this mode the site doesnt work properly and complains . must be a driver issue when processing print jobs from IE surely Edited November 4, 2014 by SHimmer45
