MIT AppInventor - Sloooooow!

Hi guys,

 

We've been using the above for a few weeks, the installation/deployment was fairly straight forward but no we're having issues running the thing.

 

It's just very slow, can take upwards of 5 minutes to launch and even when it does it is slow to update/navigate round apps. Sometimes images don't appear, after a restart they do. We've just found it to be very flaky and unreliable (we're aware it's in Beta...!).

 

Does anyone else have similar issues?

 

We're running the latest version of the emulator and companion app and launching via Chrome.
