Ok so I'm just starting to get my head around SCCM 2012 R2.

I have Windows 7 being deployed and applications being successfully installed after that.

Is there a way to schedule a machine or group of machines to be wiped and re-installed without having to sit in front of each machine PXE boot it and kick off a re-install?

I apologize if this is a thick question but as I said I'm still getting my head around it.

Yep I did this:

had 2 collections:

Forced Rebuild (ie on next reboot) - Deployment Type = Required, Assignment Schedule = As soon as possible, Advertise to Media & PXE only)

Scheduled as "Forced Rebuild" but set a recurring assignment schedule (eg Fridays @ 18:00)

I then manually added machines to one of those collections.

I also had a VB Script to create a Filter Rule so that you didn't end up with a rebuild loop. It checked for Event ID 11171 and removes the machine from that collection

Remove from collection and clear PXE flag vbscript using Status Filter Rule - CCMEXEC.COM – System Center blog
