SCHOOL ENGINEER – Worcestershire - £18-£21K

 

We are currently looking for a Managed Service Engineer to join the IT support team in the Birmingham area. Based in a large secondary school, your day-to-day duties will include: diagnosing and fixing device problems, user access issues, projector/whiteboard problems, adding users, print management, checking backups, help manage Service Desk tickets as they are added and be able to prioritise issues that affect Teaching and Learning.

 

Experience in previous IT support within an educational environment is essential and knowledge of: Network support in an educational environment, Windows Server and desktop Oss, infrastructure experience (switches, Wi-Fi), active Directory, VDI/thin clients, network backup (Symantec Backup Exec), network services (File and Print), desktop deployment (Windows 7/8/Apple)

 

A CRB check is required for this role and a full, clean driving licence is desirable. This role is offering a salary of £18-£21k plus company benefits.
