Hi, I currently have google earth installed on all my macs and all of a sudden it has stopped working for student accounts but works with administrator. Is there a specific permission they need?

Edit: Sorry about being vague, still on OS X Mountain Lion no changes where made for this. I have tried uninstalling reinstalling and updating but none of that fixed it.

error message "Google Earth quit unexpectedly" KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x0000000000000000

Have you tried losing all the preferences from the non admin users, it sounds like something is corrupt somewhere... Unless it's a write permission somewhere... Do you have any kind of app restriction or parental control on those users?

What do you mean by losing all the preferences? (I am a Mac Noob) and there is no restrictions I also give read and write permissions to the contents folder inside the package as well as the app itself to Everyone
