HarrisonJones Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 (edited) Hi, I currently have google earth installed on all my macs and all of a sudden it has stopped working for student accounts but works with administrator. Is there a specific permission they need? Edit: Sorry about being vague, still on OS X Mountain Lion no changes where made for this. I have tried uninstalling reinstalling and updating but none of that fixed it. error message "Google Earth quit unexpectedly" KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x0000000000000000 Edited October 23, 2014 by HarrisonJones
Oaktech Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Throw us a a bone here... Is there an error, does it just 'not start' have you done updates, rolled onto Yosemite? What's gone on!

Oaktech Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Have you tried losing all the preferences from the non admin users, it sounds like something is corrupt somewhere... Unless it's a write permission somewhere... Do you have any kind of app restriction or parental control on those users?

(I am a Mac Noob) and there is no restrictions I also give read and write permissions to the contents folder inside the package as well as the app itself to Everyone Edited October 23, 2014 by HarrisonJones
