Hi,

In control panel>Pen and Touch>Touch I want to disable 'Enable multi-touch gestures and inking' but whenever I disable this, apply and return to the setting it is re-enabled. I have done some research and Microsoft suggest installing the latest version of the touchpad driver which I have done but with no success. This is the same on different models of laptop in different scenarios (both touch screen laptops and non touch screen laptops plugged into touch screen TVs). The reason I want to disable this is because we have children who are unable to touch the screen with one finger so interactive games are unresponsive or over-responsive when touched with the back or palm of a hand.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Stephen

Sorry to dredge up a very old thread, we have exactly the same issue as explained above and I cannot find a way to disable 'Enable multi-touch gestures and inking' either via register or GPO. I can disable using an admin account but when a student logs back in it is enabled again. Student can untick this but it does not stay disabled for them so multi touch remains on. Any ideas please?
