Youtube for Schools and Youtube App on SWGfL

So, it has come to my attention that the Youtube app on iPads bypasses the Youtube for schools filtering, and allows any and all youtube videos to be played, complete with comments.

 

I have reported this to SWGfL but they have said that they cannot do anything about it as the app uses IP addresses instead of domain names...

 

I'm not exactly thrilled by this, to say the least!!

 

So, has anyone else come across this one, and do you have a fix?

I have been in contact with SWGFL for the last 6ish months about this one. Apparently it is possible to block the app, however only by blocking all the google type apps!! Not ideal.
