Administrator password reset issues in O365.

I am getting the following message in O365 console what happened? You can’t edit this user’s role on this page because this user has one or more partner-managed roles, as well as multiple administrator roles: . To edit this user’s role, contact your authorized service provider.

You got external support etc?

 

If they're added into MSOL roles you can't modify them without removing them first.

 

You'll need to look through all the MSOL Roles unless you know what they're in.

 

Example:

Get-MsolRole

Get-MsolRole -RoleName “Company Administrator”
