Exchange 2013 Upgrade

Hello all,

 

I have been tasked with migrating our Exchange 2010 server to Exchange 2013. I am posting this really to get peoples guidance and opinions on the migration.

 

Our current Exchange server is in Hybrid mode between on site and the Office 365 as all our students are in Office 365 so I am curious as to how this will be migrated. Any guidance will be appreciated.

 

We have 851 active mailboxes on the current server and I wish to have Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2013 in coexistence and migrate the mailbox bit by bit to avoid any downtime.

 

We also use Lync 2013 and have two Exchange Unified Messaging servers on the network to provide voice mail so and I would need to migrate these to Exchange 2013 also.

 

If anybody has any advise or has done something similar then please shed some light on my questions.
