Hi,

Am very new to Onelan, so am still learning but am struggling with something which am hoping someone knows the answer.

My current layout has a twitter feed which runs down the right hand side of our Videowall, scrolling messages across the bottom, and a main content area to the left in the available space. In the main content is where all the images, movies, ppts run.

I want a layout change which will display a full screen welcome to the school movie, once finished reverts back to my videowall layout, and keep to the current playlist set in my main content.

I've used layout change option which works to run the welcome to movie, but it will not then layout change back to the videowall layout. It just seems to mess up and tries to revert back to my videowall layout but struggles in a endless flashing of the videowall.

Any ideas?

Hi Mullet man, just put you new layout into a schedule, we do it during open evening when we display promo vids, it plays during the schedule then reverts back to the default feed.

Apologies it's late, don't change your default layout, create a new one and add this to your schedule so it flips between the two when you want them displayed

Thanks for the reply mrnoisy, I have my main layout, and I have a new full screen layout which has my one video which I want to display full size.

So if I add this second layout to the schedule it will play after and then keep repeat?

Thanks again

Yeah basically, you can set you schedule in many configurations, days mon-sat / times etc, just set it to what you need.

Your main feed will then swap over to your video then revert back to the default feed when the schedule is up.

We set it up like this for open evenings so the main feed swaps to promo videos from 3:30- end of open evening, then reverts back to the default feed. It's great as we don't need to be onsite to assist teaching staff we can just set it up before we leave.
