Chrome issue when printing

Strange one

 

whenever one of our users go to print from chrome on her pc, after the dialogue box and pressing print, chrome just closes, and does not send the print job.

 

if she is on a different pc it's fine, and it's also fine when someone logs onto their account on her PC (both admins with same permissions and gpo's applied...)

 

at a complete loss, anyone else come across this?

 

there's an event logged, but it's actually saying its an error with chrome creating the error report, which isn't exactly helpful....

Although I've not seen that issue before, the fact she works elsewhere, and other users work on that machine, leads me to think somethings gone a bit weird in her profile on that machine...

 

As long as all her profile data is local to that machine (doesn't sound like it from what you've said), I'd clear the local profile off and log her in again fresh perhaps? See if that sorts it?

such a horrid week, that hadn't even crossed my mind, i'll give that a go when i next go down there later on.

 

Also, it seems to also be only that specific networked printer :S
