IE11 and OWA 2010 - Attachment 'Open' doesn't appear

I have a minor issue when trying to open attachments froom OWA 2010 using IE11 on any Windows 7 PC.

 

If I logon with a student account I get an option to Open attachments directly

 

If I logon the same machine as a teacher I do not get the option to open the attachment

 

This applies to any type of attachment.

 

I'm assuimng this can only be a GPO setting, but no luck in tracking it down. Any pointers anyone?
