bwestlake Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Hi Guys We have a really annoying ie issue with our moodle site. It can never be replicated and it happens on random users / computers! Basicly since we have upgraded to IE 10 / enabled swgfl seamless proxy, on the machines it intermittently comes up with page cannot be displayed for our Moodle site. The moodle site is internal and also in dns so it points to it, sso is enabled on it so everyone is automatically signed onto Moodle. When we try to log onto the computer as someone else or get the user to logon somewhere else it is often fine, however it is starting to happen more and more. Does anyone have any ideas about how to solve this or just where to start! Many thanks!
bwestlake Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 if you run gpupdate /force on the user it fixes the issue but it could happen again, where can I start?
robjduk Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Try upgrading to IE 11 and/or adding your site to IE's compatibility view. Seems to cure a lot of ills you may find.
round2it Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Have you got an exception for your moodle box in the ie settings Do not use proxy for these ip addresses
free780 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Does your moodle box have any load balancing?
