steven_layton_sl Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Am I right in assuming that a Windows device can connect to both a traditional Wi-Fi network to access local resources, but also have a wireless connection to a data projector? Its something I assume is possible, but have never looked into. I'd like to replace our current computer in our hall, which is wired into both the LAN and Projector, with a tablet connected via Wi-Fi to the LAN but also wirelessly to the current data projector. The projector has a HMDI connection and so would plan to buy some form of HDMI device, ala ChromeCast (but for a more traditional Windows setup). Ideally I'd like to replace the PC with something like a Surface Pro 3, or similar. All thoughts and ideas very welcome! Steve
