Hello,

We are having issues with network drives on our Macs.

It seems the AD user account home folder will mount however it will not appear in Finder without enabling it in preferences on every single account.

Anyone have the same problem and find a fix?

Cheers!

Oh I've just clicked, we have it set up a little different here. I have shared drives mapped on the desktop and the Home drive is in the dock next too teh trash icon.

We also have this, but how do you save directly to the user area?

It doesn't allow us to?

If possible, please could you help with screenshots! Cheers!

Perhaps this thread will help http://www.edugeek.net/forums/mac/141311-ad-od-user-folder-default-save.html

Was just missing the screenshot of Directory Utility. You can do that via profile manager as well depending on which version of OS X (server) you have.

This comes up so often I should make a longer post with screenshots etc. So if you need more info just say and I'll actually do it will all the screenshots and what not.
