An opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly customerfocused 2nd line ICT Support Engineer to provide onsite ICT and customerservice support to a Hull secondary school as part of a large managed servicewith one of the ‘UK’s Top IT Employers’*.

RM Education is the leading provider of ICT software &services to the Education sector and employs over 2000 staff. Working withinRM's BSF - ‘Building Schools for the Future’ Programme, the Customer SupportEngineer will be predominately based at one school as the sole engineertackling 2nd line support issues from server level down to mobile devices (MSServer 2008,2012, Windows 7/8, AD, DNS, DHCP, Apple etc) but utilising RM’smobile engineers & Head Office support as appropriate.

Just as critically, the ICT Customer Support Engineer willbe the onsite ambassador for RM Education, communicating regularly with theschool leadership, proactively delivering exceptional customer service to staffand students and ensuring that service delivery targets / SLAs are achieved.

This is a varied IT support role in a very rewardingenvironment that also requires the building of strong relationships with theschool staff. If you’re an IT Customer Support Engineer that is a greatcommunicator with a proactive attitude, enjoy solving problems and ultimatelyget a real buzz out of going the extra mile for customers, then this is therole for you.

The Individual

· IT support experience including MS Server2008/2012, Windows 7, 8, AD, DNS etc, ideally within a customer-oriented ITenvironment

· Experience of maintaining a range of networkingand standalone hardware, and an ability to keep abreast of technology changesand innovation

· Strong problem solving abilities and excellentcommunication, customer handling, influencing and inter-personal skills

· Strong planning, organising and prioritisingabilities. Target focused. Flexible to cope with change, be proactive and adaptquickly to a developing type of service delivery

· Prior school ICT support experience may beuseful, but isn’t essential
