Found this, figured its worth letting people know (my brothers machine was infected and he is very tech savvy and knows what he is doing).

Lol how to check if you have been infected for free, update your Apple anti malware software, yeah I'd guess that would do it.

 

Ah I see originally it was a link to get some paid for software "free" for 6 months but now Apple have updated their stuff.

Had to amend mine to allow the install of x mirage / vlc and some other apps as these are not from the app store afaik

Yes....because Macs don't get malware
