When using code academy, we are getting connection errors when submitting code (only tried python).

This only occurs on our wireless network, wired network is fine.

This only happens on the one site.

Wondering if you guys can shed any light?

 

edit: now happening on all networks but only on the python classes, so I'm assuming this is a problem on their end.

I know this is an older post but I hope you still stumble back on this.

 

I had the exact same issue and I found it was my firewall. My firewall was stripping unknown header data and I made a rule that circumvented the problem. I cant tell you exactly what the header item was that was stripped as my firewall vender came out with an update that also fixed the issue so I was able to delete the rule. Hope this helps.

Sorry for not coming back on this, it was the web filtering. Code Academy's Python classes connect to 1 ip address as well as a couple of url's. As we block direct IP access, that was causing the issue.
