I am currently trying to find away to modify firefox to limit students to only being able to access the file menu and some of the edit menu I wish to remove all other menus as well as making the tool bar icons a little smaller!

I have tried using the chrome and i have just managed to blagg myself to death with it so I was thinking along the lines of putting some html in the config files but don't know where to start.

this is all in the aim of removing internet explorer and all its bugs to be polite about the software.

Can any one offer me guidance with the chrome or html approach.

Cheers Stu!

Public Fox.

In the past i have used the public fox option and it did what i wanted it to.

This Add-on seems to be the sort of thing I am after.

After installing it and locking firefox out to myself I think it may be just the thing, however how do you go about configuring it so when I install it I am not locked out as well allowing me to modify setting when required?

Would I have to crate a second profile within firefox and how do you go about doing so?

if i remember correctly, if you set a password, when you go to the addon section and select public fox it should ask for the password and unlock it.

Regarding the second profile, i cant really help you sorry. :(
