Hi.

We've shifted to AB Tutor v7.3.2 after spending several years (to my knowledge) on v6. I've got around to installing the client across the school fine and can log on/control workstations OK.

However I'm having trouble launching any application and get an error of 'You are not authorized to open this path'. Any clues on what I might be doing wrong? I can't see why I wouldn't have the permissions in the first place?

Thanks!

7.3.4 came out today, may be worth trying that and seeing if it was a bug? I've used 7 since it came out and I've not encountered that error message.

The user you are logged in as to run the app on the workstation does have rights to the path?

Andrew

Edit: 7.3.4 release notes:- Fixed an issue with Launch Application accessing network subdirectories.

LEGENDARY answer! I was having the same problem and it fixed with this update...I didn't know it had been released though so thanks for the heads up.

Yes, had same issue, sorry missed this one or would have said. Works fine with the latest update, it was the last update that broke it. Contacted them at the time and they admitted to the fault and emailed me when the fix was available.
