Office 365 & S/Mime

Hi all,

 

I'm looking at implementing s/mime email encryption as when needed encryption and then maybe an always on solution.

Encryption by default is something I strongly believe in and it will lead to an overall more secure internet.

 

Anyway, back to my question, I'm initially looking to use self signed certificates internally and that I can share with some of our partners we communicate with a lot. I'm having difficulty finding a way for all users to have requested a cert from my CA and store it in ad. The ones that have, now have the cert sync'd into office 365.

 

It there a way I can automatically generate all user cents and get them to be renewed when they expire?

 

And then as an additional question, I've looked around for email Cerys and they are coming up around £12 per user per yer. What is the best way to do s/mime with a publicly trusted cert? Or is that just a pipe dream?
