Is it possible to make it so that in a Sharepoint document library you can have 'Creator Owner' full control, Students create, and Staff full control?

 

Trying to make it so students can put work in it, but not mess with other peoples. Can be done on Windows file shares easy, but I'm struggling to see how to do it on sharepoint document libraries. .

You can do this with a workflow on each document library. If you edit the site in SharePoint Designer, create a 2010 Workflow.

Then first:

which sets the pupil permission for the file, then so staff can edit and see the file:

 

However - there is a delay in between the file being saved and closed and this change being done can be like up to 20 minutes.
