Powerpoint 2013 - Disable slideshow hardware graphics acceleration

Hi,

 

There is a problem with powerpoint and slideshows that it only shows a black screen rather than the correct transition. I have found a fix for this, which is to disable slideshow hardware graphics acceleration in the advanced options.

 

This works, however it is only for that session and reverts back the next time a user logs on. Does anyone know if this can be disabled via group policy or with a registry key at all? I've had a look but can't find anything.
