Hi,

Ive just setup HAP v10 on a 2012R2 server running IIS8.5. I have it working internally for now but am running into a few teething problems.

(version 10.0.418.1300)

On the homepage, I want to display a custom menu just for staff with access to a few links etc. However, from within the homepage config area, when I try to select the Staff group I get the active directory browser popup but there is nothing in it. It just opens the AD browser but doesn't pull the domain info through. Ive noticed that on the Active Directory tab there is a red cross under base settings. It almost seems like its not remembering the admin password. As soon as I enter the password it goes green and I can add an OU for the helpdesk and booking system but when I leave the page it forgets it again.

On another note, when I click on the ME links on the pages I did at one point have the option to change password etc, this is no longer working and clicking the link doesn't do anything. Also the edit profile doesn't do anything when clicked.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

The ad password is a security measure, you need to enter it but not save when you need to use the AD tree.

You will need to make sure you have 1 or more tabs as well as the me tab for it to work properly

Thanks @nickbro

But I don't get what you mean?

1. How can I get a menu option (like management, recources etc) called staff to be only available to members of the staff group? I have attached what I get when I click custom group from the menu

2. What do you mean I will need one or more tabs for the me link to work?

Sorry

EDIT: Ive fixed the me link :) just the staff tab now
