Adfs migration to 3.0

Hi

 

Has anyone done a migration from server 2008r2 ad fs 2.1 to server 2012r2 as fs 3.0. We use it for office 365 and Lynda.com. Want to move it over to a new box but not sure how. Can any point me in the right direction please.

We have been looking into this but we had to go back to 200R2..

 

ADFS 3.0 requires a Server 2012R2 domain controller.

Yeah that's fine as one of my dc is 2012r2 in the process of upgrading servers os

Are you sure? We use ADFS 3.0 with 2012 domain controllers.

I would personally setup the new ADFS along side the old one. Then break the federations and recreate them with the new ADFS servers.
