Heya,

I'm trying to install classroom bookings using XAMPP and get the following error:

A PHP Error was encountered

Severity: Warning

Message: mysql_real_escape_string() expects parameter 2 to be resource, boolean given

Filename: mysql/mysql_driver.php

Line Number: 232

Have i missed something in the installation process?

Cheers

Hi

Can you give me any details about the environment that you're running it in please? I.e. web server? MySQL? Has anything else changed recently or is this a fresh install on a fresh MySQL DB and new user?

Both: you should be able to change it to use MySQLi by editing system/application/config/database.php, and it is the "driver" entry that can be changed:

$db['default']['dbdriver'] = 'mysqli';
