Would a Proxy solve this problem?

We had a second ISP drop a connection for us over 370ft away, and a VLAN back to the MDF room isn't an option. I thought maybe I could route specific traffic to a second gateway for the new ISP drop. I would like to use two NICs on one machine like a bridge, and was thinking that making a linux proxy box would be a solution. (I'm open to any other ideas though). Since this box is the only device between the new ISP and our Firewall a linux box would be as close to ideal as we could afford.

Is a proxy the solution? If so, any suggestions on what I should be looking up?

I have just enough linux experience to know that I should be asking here and a linux flavor hasn't been installed yet either.

Any feedback is welcome. Thanks!
