Problem Mapping Drive and Folder Redirection

Hi, we have currently got a problem with drive mapping as well as folder redirection.

 

Intermittently we are getting it where students home drive as well as a drive mapping to the same server are not being redirected and mapped. we get the following 2 messages;

 

Failed to apply policy and redirect folder "Documents" to "%HOMESHARE%\Users\$username".

Redirection options=0x9000.

The following error occurred: "".

Error details: "The specified path is invalid.

".

 

The user 'Q:' preference item in the 'Mapped drive deploy All_users {552BC027-75FF-45B3-BA67-8AE910020084}' Group Policy object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070035 The network path was not found.' This error was suppressed.

 

A simple logoff and back on maps the drives as well as does the folder redirection.

 

This isn't limited to 1 pc is happening across the site but only reported from students and shifts pc's.

 

Our setup is

 

Windows 7 sp1

Windows server 2008R2 dc

Windows server 2008r2 file server

 

Any one have any thoughts?
