Senior ICT Technician

Pay Spine – APTC 4.18-4.21 £19,295 - £21,297

Full time, 36 hours a week, 52 weeks a year

 

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated Senior ICT Technician with excellent Microsoft Windows, office and organisational skills. Knowledge of VM Ware, SCCM, Windows Servers, Apple devices and Linux would also be an advantage. The successful candidate will be working alongside the Network Manager and an ICT Technician providing day to day ICT support to students and staff. Key duties will include:

 

• Installation and maintenance of school ICT equipment
  
• Provide 2^nd/3^rd line support to CSD department
  
• Respond to helpdesk jobs
  
• Setup & Support AV equipment
  

 

• Help with user issues
  

The successful candidate will require good time management skills and excellent communication skills. Experience of working with the SIMS database is desirable.

The successful candidate will also need to be sensitive and trustworthy, with a keen eye for detail – a sense of humour would be an asset.
