Brainy89 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Our school manager has just got to me with a strange request. she is trying to log a fault with a circular saw and she gets an email back saying undelivered. she has forwarded me the email and it is all in chinese. the translation from google translate is just babble with the last line telling us to be careful of gin! has anyone come accross this issue before. it has happened a number of times this morning with various emails from her account.
Arreks Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Sounds like your manager has been on the gin.. Are you using a web based client such as gmail or something like outlook?
FN-GM Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I have had that when using Outlook 2013. I just copied and pasted the bounce message into a new email instead.
Brainy89 Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 Shes using outlook. the mail setup here is office 365. she declines to comment on the gin
nyiss Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Have you been able to check if the emails are still sending despite the bounce back? Sounds like its been compromised and could be throwing up a false header to me.
FN-GM Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Are you not best opening a support case with Microsoft?
