Outstanding Opportunity for an ICT Manager

 

Virtue Technologies wish to appoint an experienced ICT Manager to work directly with one of our customers, Appleton Academy (appletonacademy.co.uk). All applicants should have a desire to lead the delivery of outstanding ICT Services to support both the education of students and the operation of the Academy.

In partnership with Virtue Technologies, Appleton Academy is an all through learning environment for pupils aged 3 to 19. The Academy recently moved into a modern and spacious new building which provides a wonderful working environment,

 

 

The successful applicant will:

 

 

 

• Lead the Academy’s ICT Team and inspire them to deliver an outstanding service.
  
• Be innovative, collaborative and an excellent communicator.
  
• Be looking to make a valuable contribution to Virtue Technologies and Appleton Academy.
  
• Have a track record of delivering 1st Class ICT Services, ideally in an education environment.
  
• Be responsible for the development and implementation of school policies and procedures for the safe, effective and innovative use of ICT within the school environment.
  
• Manage and maintain the network system and co-ordinate the efficient operation of all computers and associated equipment within school.
  
• Own and deliver the ICT Improvement Plan.
  
• Be responsible for the analysis, evaluation and detailed reporting to SLT in relation to all aspects of ICT provision across the school.

The successful candidate will be employed by Virtue Technologies and based at the Academy’s main site in Wyke, just outside Bradford.
