VLAN'ing off the printers

Im looking at VLANing off the printers but im struggling to get the prints over to the printer. The appropriate ports have been tagged on the switches and smoothwall (the smoothwall is acting as the router/vlan host) and my print server can see the webpage of the printer however will not push jobs to it.

 

What am i missing and how do i fix it?

Is smoothwall allowing traffic through on the required ports (not the physical, the numerical eg. port 80 for HTTP etc...).

Yeah, ive got it set in Networking » Outgoing » Policies so that 192.168.1.0/24 (printer VLAN) destination is to 172.16.24.0/21 which is the main domain ip range. This is set to Allow All.

TBH you would be better off segmenting the printers with the limited layer 3 of the switch and only get the smoothwall involved for outbound stuff or stuff the core can't do.
