SIMS VLE Export

we are considering moving to a VLE supplier who uses the VLE Export function in SIMS to export data on a regular basis. Before we go any further I would like to better understand which other Learning Platforms or products use this method of exporting data and how reliable it is. If it's in common usage and 1000s of schools depend on it it might put my mind at rest. If anyone has any documentation they might share I would be grateful. ta.

This is probably not the answer your looking for but I would avoid using it.

 

The data available from it is very limited, most VLE products use their own integration or a third party to export data as the gives them access to a more richer data set.
