minimoo Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Nick's got a different error message logged elsewhere with a similar line of code: new Exception("I cannot impersonate " + this.UserName + " due to an issue logging onto the domain " + this.DomainName + " using an Interactive Login. HAP+ Requires Interactive Login Rights on the Server it is running on"); So using that for hints: a) has this worked previously? b) I wonder if the account trying to login doesn't have interactive login rights - only thing i'm not sure at this point is whether the *account* is that of HAP , or that of the end user
StephenHardy Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 It works for teaching staff and domain admins.... It did work, could be a windows update? Do you have the link to the post you mentioned? Thanks Stephen
minimoo Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 it wasn't a post - that was a copy/paste from the source code.
StephenHardy Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 Ahh ok. I might take a look at the iis user account as UAC might be throwing a spanner in the works
StephenHardy Posted September 4, 2014 Author Posted September 4, 2014 Sorted it - the default domain controller policy was imposing Local login rights so the GPO applied to my Web Server OU wasn't adding the correct user group. In theory the teaching staff shouldn't of been able to run HAP, but they could. Strange but sorted. Cheers for pointing me in the right direction - appreciate it Stephen
