After years of deteriorating long-sightedness, I've just been for an eye test and my right eye hasn't changed and my left only by a small margin. I probably could have told them that on the basis that I can still read the small print with these specs but it's nice to know I don't have to fork out megabucks on new varifocals.

Wish I could say the same. My eyesight is terrible. However, I bought varifocal sunglasses this year and they have made a real difference. I can read in the sun at last! No more squinting under the lenses
