Give Us Some IP Addresses!

Hello,

 

I am working towards my CCNA. I need to know how to work out if an IP address is a Host, Boradcast or Network Address manually. I do it my converting it all to binary and then work it out. I know how to do this. I want to test myself, its hard to comeup with your own examples without knowing the answer first!

 

So can you folks give me a couple of examples of each along with the subnet mask please?

We use subnetting.net - Subnet Questions and Answers with our students to teach them subnetting. I believe the questions are all about what's the first usable address in a subnet etc.

I used "Subnetting Practice" which is a 60p android app (Don't know about IOS). You can choose the question type...well worthit, i used it for a week just doing questions when i had a few mins spare and i could do them in my head after that.
