Skype Dropped for Some Old OSs

Well MS is at it again, their bad decision machine has dumped out yet another travesty. First they pull the Skype App for MacOS 10.5 which was unnecessary, this caused outrage and so they reversed it and pulled the plug on the Windows Phone 7 one instead. How they have less support for their own platforms is unfathomable.

 

I wonder how many people work in the internal sabotage and stupid decisions department at MS, there must be a lot.

As a previous WP7 user and current WP8 user all I can say is they had better give everyone free and possible upgrades to WP9 when that comes out as they can't be trusted to support anything that is not their latest version. If not I will have to ditch the WP platform all together despite it being great in many other aspects.
