[wds] IGMP Querier : Does it need enabling?

Trying to get my head around WDS and Multicasting.

 

I have enabled IGMP snooping on all my switches.

 

I read somewhere that one of the switches should be configured as an IGMP Querier.

 

Does anyone know if this is correct and if so should it be the Core switch which is the Querier?

An update : It looks like one of switches furthest away from the core switch has been elected as the Querier. Does this mean all multicast traffic has to go through that switch? Edited July 29, 2014 by fiza

Set the core as the only querier, usually you have to set it for each vlan too.

I only have the default vlan1 configured.
