fiza Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 I have a ghost image that I want to install onto a virtual machine. I have read that Ghost32 in Solution Suite 12 can do it but unfortunately I don't have a copy of Ghost32. Is there any other way to convert a GHO image to a VHD?
sted Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 just boot up the vhd use a bootable iso with ghost and the image somewhere the vm can read and ghost as normal? 1
plexer Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 (edited) Think you will need to find a copy of ghost32 for this, attach a vhd to your system and then run ghost32 to copy the disk image to the mounted vhd simples. Ben Edited July 22, 2014 by plexer 1

Ben I found a copy of Ghost 11.5 and did just that but the resultant VHD wouldn't boot. In the end I deployed the Ghost image onto a physical machine and then used Disk2VHD to copy it to a VHD. Resultant VHD boots fine. Thanks guys for the pointers. 1
