[sims] 2012 SQL Migration accounts issue.

We've just done summer upgrade which worked fine followed by upgrading sql to 2012.

 

SQL migration tool appeared to work but now no logins. Just says invalid username & password.

 

I've rolled the server back in a mean time but will need to upgrade/migrate at some point.

 

Anyone else having had this?

Sorted. Never set sql to mixed mode authentication. After that just detached and reattached db.

I will watch out for that - going through the same process next week!

If it looks like its worked then it may well just be the connect.ini still pointing to the old instance if you get the invalid username and password issue.
