Does anyone else have a plusnet Technicolor TG582n FTTC

I am trying to use plex connect at home but the router is blocking the ports. When i go onto the console by the looks of it you have to assign a game & application sharing to the device which needs it to forward the ports. This seems such a long winded way of doing it!!!! Is there no way i can just forward the ports on the router for all devices?
