themightymrp Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Does anybody know of a way of switching the default behaviour on the shared mailbox automapping? I want it set to $false so that I don't get extra mailboxes appearing in my Outlook 2013. I know I can set it per mailbox via powershell, just want it off by default!! Cheers
speckytecky Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Umh, that's a bit of a blow. We have a number set up for sharing so being able to share them going on would have been very handy.
FN-GM Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 If you make it a standard user mailbox instead of a shared mailbox it will auto map itself in Outlook.
Edu-IT Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 What exactly does this do, sorry? Make a mailbox available to a user in Outlook without adding it as a separate account?

Yes, You can have multiple mailboxes open in outlook. A shared mailbox in Office 365 won't automatically add it to outlook. A uses mailbox will.
Edu-IT Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 How do I get that to work? Just give the user full access?
