MattDLEA Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Dont really know where to stick this. But on the heads computer the this is not working. We have a website with an .asx embeded so that we can listen to our internal radio ( there are two links one for outside and one for inside the network) When he opens up the page with this embedded after a few seconds music starts to play but there is a white box where the plug in should be displayed. On other machines you can see the controls and stuff. Have to use interner explorer as the plug in doesnt work with chrome I have updated flash and shockwave on there and still nothing, any ideas? I cant just swap pc's like I normally would. Cheers
MattDLEA Posted July 9, 2014 Author Posted July 9, 2014 Just tried that, When I remove it in the white box i get a little box in the top left corner. When I reinstalled it that little box goes but still no controls or anything just a white box
Arthur Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Do you have any other media players installed on the computer that could interfere with ASX files (like VLC and its ActiveX plugin)?
MattDLEA Posted July 9, 2014 Author Posted July 9, 2014 No other media players is on there as far as I am aware. How would i reinstall the ActiveX plug in for media player? Or would installing VLC be a better option
Tesla Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I'd try installing VLC but not make it the default player, just have it's codecs. See if that helps.
