Networkable projectors

Does anyone use them? and if so are they any good. From what I've read they are OK for stills or powerpoint presentations but not so for video.

Are you talking specifically wifi connected projectors, or cabled connection? We've tried a couple of wifi projectors; the NEC M361X with wifi which has it's own NEC iPad app called (Wireless image utility) and Hitachi CPX2520 with a USB wireless dongle. In both cases, powerpoint or still images are OK, but streaming video is poor - far better to stick to Apple TV or the cheaper option of Airsquirrels Reflector program Reflector Airplay Receiver - Mirror an iPhone or iPad to a Mac or PC

which we use on all our whiteboard PCs. Youtube streaming on Reflector is very good and a lot cheaper than Apple TV!

All of our new projectors are wired into the network - as opposed to wireless, but this is really for management use rather than to project. We use Air Server to enable Apple devices to display on the whiteboards. It's a damn site cheaper and easier to set up than Apple TV!
